I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently. It's been a hectic month, starting college etc. The amount of extra work we get is ridiculous, but I suppose it's just the way it is.
But, I am planning on doing a 'Whats in my bad tag' this week. So I will get that done as soon as I can! And of course more 'outfit of the days' :)
I promise I will make up for this drought of posts :)
How has September been for you? Hectic, like me?

Outfit of the Day!
It's been a while since i've done one of these, sorry!
Today I felt a bit lazy if I'm honest, but it's Sunday so that's my excuse :)
A lazy mood = a simple outfitThe baggy tee is from ASOS for £22. It's quite low-cut so you might decide to wear something underneath but I love the way it hangs off the body. It's also long enough to wear it with those fabulously comfy leggins!
At last minute I decided to add this cotton, grey waistcoat from Topshop. I got it quite a while ago now, but they're now back in fashion, so something similar will be easy to get hold of! I wouldn't say it adds warmth, but it adds texture to the outfit :)
These beauties are from Dorothy Perkins for £22, they soften up the look a bit more, but to 'roughen' it up you could wear biker boots.
I hope you liked this quickie of a post :) But for now...
I also got the L'Oreal Kids De-Tangler spray, sounds stupid, looks stupid but oh no, it smells amazing, like pears and leaves your hair shiney smooth, for £1.50 you can't say no!
I got a discontinued MAC eyeshadow, 'Hey'. I don't know why it's discontinued because it's such a subtle pale pink that looks silky on the lid. Also, I got the MAC Prep+Prime Skin Base Visage, wanted it for a long time now and finally got it. You all know I suffer with shine on my face throughout the day and this works wonders!
Finally, I bought Rimmels new Lash Accelerator mascara, I don't know how it works yet, but i'm intrigued to find out!
Now let the lazy day continue... :)

...some random bits and bobs im rather excited about
When I visited Eyeko.com, I was tempted enough to buy the 'Eyeko Cream'. It's meant to be a highlighter, eye cream and moisturiser all in one. If I'm honest, I didn't like using it as a moisturiser, it didn't really feel like a moisturiser on my skin. However, I LOVE how it works for a highlighter and the amount you get for £8 is pretty good if you ask me!I also got the L'Oreal Kids De-Tangler spray, sounds stupid, looks stupid but oh no, it smells amazing, like pears and leaves your hair shiney smooth, for £1.50 you can't say no!

L'IMPÉRATRICE by D and G
It has overtaken Daisy by Marc Jacobs as my favourite scent. There, I said it.
The scent is fruity; a type of scent I usually steer away from.
'D&G 3 L'Impératrice opens with top notes of rhubarb, red currant and juicy kiwi accord. The musky notes, sandalwood and grapefruit wood in the base notes are boisterous, brilliant and incredibly addictive'
'Incredibly addictive'? Ha, you can say that again! It's £35 for 100ml and I believe Naomi Campbell is the model for this particular perfume. It's a good deal if you ask me and it's lucky that it's such a big bottle because I can honestly not stop spraying this!
With the purchase I got this reasonably sized wash bag which will come in handy.
A fear I often have with perfumes is that it won't last long. But a few spritz here and there (wrists, neck and hair) is enough to last a full day at college, which is what I like! And considering it's an Eau de Toilette, that is pretty darn good!
I would say that this is very much a day scent - it's too casual for the evening. But I recommend this 100%. Obviously, scent is a very personal thing so when you're next perfume shopping, smell this and tell me what you think!

My first NOTD
'Oooh, is that the Chanel particulière you've got on there?'
'Well, it's the £3.50 version, yes'
'Well, it's the £3.50 version, yes'
Yep, there is near identical that I have been trying to find for months. This beauty is found at eyeko and I honestly think this is the best 'high street' dupe there is.
Particulière by Chanel £19
Ok, so my application isn't quite as good as the Chanel picture, but you get the idea. The only difference I can really see by the pictures is the shine on the Particulière, but I think that if I put a top coat over the Posh Polish then it would look exactly the same. And even better, the mushroom-hued nail polish is bang on trend this year.
So here's what I like about the Posh Polish:
- Cute packaging, the bottle isn't a ridiculous size that I will never finish
- Application was easy
- Almost opaque with one coat, but two coates for a perfect finish
- Doesn't chip bad at all (without a top coat, it lasted three days without chipping!)
- And it drys amazingly fast
The only thing I can honestly say it could improve on is the amount of shine after it dries - it's slightly too matte for my liking, but obviously that's just a personal opinion.
I was shopping around Eyeko.com and actually bought two nail polishes and an eye cream, but because I spent over £10 I got another free nail polish...roll on the freebies!
For £3.50 it's a complete steal. I'm actually quite content about this find.
Thankyou Eyeko!
